All Age Service: Sunday 25th July @ 10am

Plan B:

Our plan for tomorrow morning's outdoor Sunday service has had to be changed because of the high likelihood of heavy rain on & off throughout the day. The service will be just as previously planned but will take place inside the church building.

It will be an All-Age Service led by Rev Louise in which she will speak about Jesus Feeding the Five Thousand. See a short video from Louise talking about the service here: Louise Vincer talking about the service

We are now once again able to sing our hymns together for the first time since Covid-19 arrived - although we must continue to wear masks & maintain sensible social distancing.

The service will have all the normal elements of prayer, bible readings, hymns as well as Louise's talk about The Feeding of the Five Thousand. We have a service sheet so there will be no projector and the service won't be available online this week.

Our team of expert cakemakers has swung into action to make refreshments available after the service.

So, although it is disappointing not to be outside as planned, we are looking forward to gathering together for worship and fellowship and hope very much that you will be able to join us.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Welcome

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at St.Mary's (details below) for our Sunday Service starting at 10am. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits afterward. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

Plan your journey:

Open Google Maps

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Our Service

The main service begins at 10am with a warm welcome..

What about my kids?2020-06-26 15-01-11

Treasure Seekers (Sunday school) takes place during each of the 10am services except the Family Service on the first Sunday

Children stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of the service for the welcome, songs and notices. We really value worshipping God all together as a family. At the end of the notices someone will announce that it’s time for the younger members to go out to Treasure Seekers.  You will need to go with your children to their groups and register them as part of our child safety policy.

The kids group activities vary depending on the age but usually there is a friendly welcome, bible stories, testimonies, praying, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play. Please pick your children up as soon as the service finishes.

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.
