Giving thanks for the life of Her Majesty The Queen

A special prayer from the Church of England:

Gracious God, we give thanks
for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
for her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
and may her example continue to inspire us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

We will show here details of services, events and other ways information for the next few days.
Our flag will fly at half-mast until after the funeral.  Our Tenor bell was rung at the announcement of the Queen's death and again on Friday, half muffled, as we joined churches across the country to mark the death of the Queen.
Sunday 11th September Service at 10am.

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth, we have made changes to our 10am service tomorrow in this period of national mourning.

It will be a service of prayers; readings, hymns and songs as well as time to bring our feelings of loss as well as thanksgiving in the context of Christian hope.

There will be a children’s craft activity too.

Whatever you are feeling at this time we hope everyone will come and find comfort and companionship at St Mary’s.

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.
