Some news items: (2nd October 2020)

New minister: In case you don't already know, we are delighted that Rev Louise Vincer has been appointed as an interim minister for our benefice. She will be working half time and will be with us for 6 months, to support us in the time until we have a permanent minister appointed. We look forward to her taking up her post on 4th November.

Harvest Festival: Sunday 18th October will be our celebration of Harvest Festival. As this service often attracts larger numbers that we can currently accommodate in the church, we are hoping to have an extra service on the evening of Thursday 15th October, to allow more people to take part. Please let me know if you might like to join us for this.

Prayer: I know that many of you pray regularly and, in this time of separation, it is more important than ever to sustain ourselves spiritually in this way. I've attached a prayer card, Harvest to Advent 2020, that you might find helpful. You can also follow this link Canterbury Diocese Changing Lives Prayer Network to find more resources to encourage you in your prayer lives.

Children's Society collection boxes: some of you will know that Mary Mason, who has been responsible for collecting these boxes, is expecting to move away very soon. The role of managing the boxes has now been taken up by Jean Williams and she will be in touch with those of you who have boxes to arrange collection. We wish Mary good luck for her move and hope she will be very happy in her new home.

Planning your Visit

A Warm Welcome

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know, beforehand, what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at St.Mary's (details below) for our Sunday Service starting at 10am. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone on our Welcome Team.

We serve tea, coffee and biscuits afterward. It is a great way to meet people, or simply take time to find your bearings. All refreshments are free.

Plan your journey:

Open Google Maps

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There are disabled toilets in the main foyer.

Getting Connected

Small Groups

While Sundays are a great way to meet new people, it is often in smaller gatherings that you can really get to know someone. Being part of one of our small groups allows you to make new friends, share together and support each other. We have a variety of groups that meet throughout the week, some afternoons and some evenings. Check out Small Groups and see if there’s one that you could join, or we can put you in touch with a small group leader who will be more than happy to invite you along to their group.
